My hairstylist Leslie Orvik (at The Right Angle Hair Salon) is also a very talented designer and seamstress for her clothing line, Wink. Leslie has quite an eye for taking current fashion trends and transforming them into gorgeous designs for young ladies. Within an outfit, Leslie uses textiles with different colors and patterns and she finds the perfect balance between form fitting and flare, which results in beautiful yet practical clothing.
We staged Leslie’s spring clothing line at the vintage furniture and design boutique Mignonne. This store has a wonderful philosophy of finding unique old furniture pieces and refurbishing them with a twist of funk. Owner Johnelle Mancha, has a great talent for taking something old and turning into something fabulous and functional. She also has a great selection of vintage gifts in every nook of the store, making it a treat to shop while also wandering back in time.
