Rodney and his mother Reina brightened my Saturday morning. While Rodney is a typical 10-year-old who likes things like chocolate chip ice cream, playing soccer, and the new Transformers movie, he is by far the most well-mannered and sweet 5th grader I know. Both Reina and Rodney have calm dispositions that show through in their beautiful eyes and in their warm smiles. I was greeted by Rodney with a confident handshake and the three of us parted with a warm group hug. It doesn’t get better than this!
